3 Ways for Adults to Enjoy a Day at EPCOT

Think Walt Disney World is just for kids?

Think again, because the enchantment of Disney extends to grown-ups as well. While it's typical for families to center their Disney itinerary around the little ones, the magic isn't exclusive to them. Witnessing the joy of your kids experiencing the magic throughout the parks is undoubtedly a highlight of a Disney family vacation. Yet, it's equally important to carve out moments for the adults in the group to relish Disney magic themselves.

Welcome to EPCOT - a true Disney delight that often surprises adults with its unique blend of entertainment, culture, and mix of timeless and new thrilling attractions. Let’s pull back the layers of EPCOT and explore some of the experiences tailored to the “big kids”.

Here are three ways the adults in your group can sneak in some fun and relaxation at EPCOT:

1. Celebrating the Festivals

Of course, EPCOT’s famous festivals are for guests of all ages but they provide a truly great opportunity for adults to let loose and be entertained. Take some time to shop various art collections during the Festival of the Arts or enjoy live music during the Flower and Garden Festival with the Garden Rocks Concert Series. Maybe you want to tap into your adventurous side and taste the unique flavors that come with the Food and Wine Festival or decide to get in the holiday spirit and take part in the many traditions throughout the park. Whichever festival you decide on, there is fun to be had!

2. Special Indulgences

Take the time to responsibly indulge in some of the specialty food and drinks meant for more mature palates. If you are one to enjoy the finer things, spend some time in the France pavilion. You will find Les Vins, a charming shop featuring a champagne bar offering wine and champagne tastings. Next door to the shop, check out Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. This is where you can try some French delicacies to go along with your champagne! If you are looking for a more laid-back festive atmosphere, head to the Mexico pavilion. Sip on a margarita, enjoy some empanadas, and unwind while the kids explore the replica of the Mesoamerican pyramid.

3. Attractions

Explore the past, present, and future at EPCOT with a wide variety of attractions available. Luckily, a lot of EPCOT’s attractions are designed for all ages to enjoy. With a handful of more thrilling rides like Test Track, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Soarin' Around the World, these rides are sure to get your heart pumping. Enjoy the magic of Disney with attractions like Frozen Ever After and Turtle Talk with Crush. EPCOT also seamlessly combines educational elements with some of their attractions making the experience more meaningful. There is something for everyone at EPCOT.

EPCOT welcomes not only the young but also those young at heart! This Disney park is a must-visit for the whole family, but remember, the enchantment extends beyond the little ones to include adults as well.
