Here are my top tips for making the most of your dining plan:

1. Advance Reservations:

Table-service restaurants can be in high demand, so it’s advisable to make dining reservations as early as possible (60 days before travel). I recommend compiling a list of the table-service restaurants your family is interested in and utilizing the My Disney Experience app to secure your dining experiences. If your party has any dietary restrictions, it should be noted during the reservation process. If you’d like help with your reservations, feel free to schedule a call, and I’ll be happy to assist you in planning and booking your preferred dining options.

2. Understand Your Meal Credits:

Stay informed about your dining plan credits by using the My Disney Experience App to make the most of each meal. You can also track your credits on the meal receipt. Any unused credits will roll over to the next day so don’t feel pressured to use them all up every day! The number of credits used daily is not limited and can be used for alcoholic beverages for guests 21 and over. Proper planning of when and where your family will have mealtimes will also help make sure you maximize your credit usage.

3. Snack Wisely:

Snack credits can be used for a variety of treats, including specialty items and beverages. Avoid using your snack credit on less expensive items such as popcorn or small individual items. Instead, opt for a snack item at EPCOT from one of the Outdoor Kitchens. Use the vendor’s menu to help identify what food items credits can be used for.

4. Mobile Ordering:

For using your quick-service credits, take advantage of mobile ordering and choose untraditional mealtimes. This will help you get your food faster and off to your next Disney attraction!

5. Optimize Quick-Service Meals:

Quick-service meals can really go a long way if you know where to use them. Research your options for each park and choose meal items that can be shared. There are many options with great portion sizes.

6. Value Added Meals:

Character dinings are a great way to use your table-service credits. The food is always great, and the experience is even better. Seeing your family’s favorite characters during mealtimes will also help maximize your daily park itineraries making more time for attractions and less time in lines for character meet and greets.
