For those times you’re craving the magic of Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea donuts but find yourself far from the enchanting realm of Disney, here’s a special surprise for you—an exclusive recipe to recreate Joffrey’s donuts in the comfort of your own kitchen. With this recipe, you can capture a taste of Disney magic right at home.

Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Copycat Donut Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

• 2 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast

• ½ teaspoon salt

• ½ cup whole milk, warmed

• ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

• 2 large eggs

• Vegetable oil for frying

• Glaze or toppings of your choice (e.g., powdered sugar, chocolate ganache, colored sprinkles)

Instructions:

• In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

• Add warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until the dough comes together.

• Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

• Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

• Punch down the dough and roll it out to about ½-inch thickness.

• Using a donut cutter or a round cookie cutter, cut out donut shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

• Cover the donuts with a clean cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

• Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).

• Carefully lower the donuts into the hot oil and fry each side until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).

• Remove the donuts from the oil and place them on a wire rack to cool slightly.

• Once cooled, dip the donuts into your desired glaze or coat them with toppings of your choice.

• Allow the glaze to set before indulging in your homemade Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea-inspired donuts. For best results, enjoy alongside your home-brewed Joffrey’s coffee.

Please note that while this recipe offers a delightful replication of Joffrey’s donuts, the experience of savoring them surrounded by Disney World magic fully cannot be replicated. So, be sure to save some room in your itinerary to enjoy the real deal during your next visit.
