Are you excitedly preparing for an upcoming trip to Disney World? As your travel agent, I am here to help assist you in preparing for your long-awaited family vacation. I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a few tips to consider as we plan your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park that will help transport you into the heart of Disney’s cinematic legacy.

• Learn How to Utilize Genie+:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a variety of incredible attractions and experiences that can have high demand. Take advantage of the Genie+ system to secure your place on selected must-do rides such as Slinky Dog Dash and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Want to learn how to use the lightning lanes? If you are interested in learning more about how to properly use Genie+ during your day at the park, please respond to this email and I would be happy to go over it with you so you can make the most of your day.

• Arrive Early for Rope Drop:

Beat the crowds and make the most of your day by arriving before the park opens (or what Disney fans refer to as “rope drop"). Disney’s Hollywood Studios can get very busy, so arriving and being some of the first guests in the park allows you to experience popular attractions with shorter wait times. Make a plan to do your family’s top priority rides right away. This will take the pressure off trying to fit them in as the day goes by and the crowd grows.

• Make Reservations Ahead of Time:

Disney's Hollywood Studios offers a lot of great dining options that cater to every taste. Consider making reservations for a unique dining experience at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, where you can enjoy classic American cuisine in a nostalgic 1950s drive-in setting. For Star Wars fans, don’t miss Oga’s Cantina, the local watering hole at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Step into this establishment, where you can enjoy exotic concoctions and intergalactic tunes. Please note it is not just dining that needs to be reserved ahead of time. If you are planning on building a droid or your very own lightsaber, those experiences also need to be pre-booked.

• Stay for the Nighttime Spectacular:

Make sure you plan to end your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios on a high note by experiencing the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! It is a must-see show that combines fireworks, water projections, and beloved Disney characters for an unforgettable finale. Be sure to check the park schedule for the showtime and secure a spot early for the best viewing experience.

• Plan Your Park Essentials:

Staying at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from open to close is not for the faint-hearted. If your family plans on spending all or most of the day at the park, make sure you plan to pack the essentials that are needed out there. We suggest water bottles, wet wipes, personal fans, sunscreen, ChapStick, and ponchos in case it rains. Let us know if you would like me to review our list of park essentials with you!
