Top 10 Disney World Drinks

Updated: Jan 29

When you enjoy going to Disney World as much as I do, you tend to find your favorites and must haves. Today, I'm excited to share my top 10 drinks from around the 'World.' These are the drinks that I get every single time I go!

Disney is always coming out with new drinks, and new things and these are the ones that have been fairly consistent on the menus. For the purpose of this post, I am not including anything that is festival specific. Also, I'm not listing these drinks in any particular order.

#1 - Ottawa Apple

Number one is the Ottawa Apple from Canada in Epcot. It is Crown Royal Maple Whiskey with apple juice and cranberry juice and it is phenomenal! We actually figured out a recipe of how to make it at home and I can't go on a trip without having one of these in the Canada pavilion. It's very refreshing but it also has a really good flavor profile that you don't always get from cocktails

#2 - Bloody Rancor

My second favorite drink at Disney World is the Bloody Rancor. This is one that you get at Oga's Cantina in Hollywood Studios. It's essentially a Bloody Mary but it comes with a little meringue cookie in the shape of a bone on top, which is just really fun! If you like Bloody Mary's then you're gonna love this. It has a little bit of a kick to it, a nice little spice but it's the theming of it; it's the bone, it's the fact that it's the Bloody Rancor.

#3 - Duck Duck Razz

Number three is the Duck Duck Razz that you can get at the Boathouse in Disney Springs. It's blue, it tastes like you should be eating candy - it almost tastes like a jolly rancher to me. It has a little floating ducky in it and it's just such a fun, light, summery drink. We had it last August when we were at Disney.

#4 - Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room

Number four is the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room. I know that's a lot of ‘tikis’ but this drink is super fun, and super delectable as well as it's a Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. It is as tropical tasting as it sounds and it is absolutely delicious. It comes with a little maraca that I shook and the bartender sang the’ tiki room’ song with me.

In general, the atmosphere of Trader Sam's is just such a fun one! It has that ‘poly vibe’ that you expect at the Polynesian Resort but on the same hand it has a lot of those dad jokes that you get with Jungle Cruise. It's a really fun experience if you're able to fit it into your trip.

#5 - Pina Loca

Number five is the Pina Loca from the ‘La Cava del Tequila’ in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. Part of why I love it is because I absolutely love Ancho Reyes liqueur, it gives such a nice smoky flavor to the cocktail. This had a ginger pineapple with the ancho reyes and it’s just super refreshing, and super fresh. I loved the smoky vibe that the liquor gave to it and it's definitely one that I would get again.

#6 - Outer Rim

Number six, my favorite drink, is the Outer Rim from Oga’s Cantina. So Outer Rim is obviously a Star Wars Reference and it's pretty much their take on a good old-fashioned classic margarita. It's really cool because it has a black salt rim and of course if you go to Oga's you'll know the bartenders are full of jokes just like Jungle Cruise. The entire time the bartender's like, “Where's the outer rim?” and my husband and I are like Star Wars Somewhere and he's pointing at the drink saying, “it's right here!” It's those kinds of jokes, it's that kind of fun and humor and everything that you get from Oga's Cantina and the Honor Room was fabulous.

#7 - Tahitian Torch

Number seven is the Tahitian Torch from Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. That one is again very tropical; it's red because it has passion and those types of fruits - it's not just a straight pineapple flavored one and done type thing, I would get different flavors every time I would take a sip and I loved that!

#8 - Cava

The next drink on my top 10 list is the Cava from Wine Bar George in Disney Springs. It is just a good old-fashioned sparkling wine. It's not a fancy cocktail or anything but what made it so special is number one; I'm a huge Asti Spumante fan, I love drinking champagne, I love a good…you know ‘bubbles' as we like to call it in our house and this one, it just had a really good flavor. It's from Spain and it's kind of their house sparkling wine. Phenomenal. It tasted good with every dish that we had. It was light, refreshing and we were at Wine Bar George for the very first day of our trip and it just made starting the trip that much better. It's just a good old-fashioned wine, it's not like a specialty cocktail or anything but you can never go wrong. A good glass of wine just hits the spot.

#9 - Fountain of Youth

Number nine was from Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar and it is the Fountain of Youth. I like really tropical flavored drinks, Greg tends to like more citrusy flavors so a lot of the drinks on my top 10 list are going to be very tropical. This one did have some pineapple juice in it, it had blue curacao but again Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar - very much like Indiana Jones but on the same hand it also gives Jungle Cruise kind of vibes. The drink, the atmosphere, everything was just phenomenal. We sat out on the back patio because the inside room was completely filled and you're at Disney Springs but it doesn't really sound like you’re at Disney Springs. It was very quiet, very relaxed, just very fun. The cocktail and atmosphere were both amazing.

#10 - Malawi Mango Margarita

Number 10 on my Alcoholic Cocktails Top Drinks from Disney is the Malawi Mango Margarita from Sanaa. When you go to Sanaa, you go for a couple reasons. You go for the Safari view, you go for the bread service and I also like going for the Malawi Mango Margarita. It is frozen and blended, it is mango goodness and just when you've been in the parks all day - especially Animal Kingdom, (because I don't know about you guys, but for whatever reason Animal Kingdom to me always feels like a much hotter park than the rest of them) we'll go over t to Animal kingdom Lodge have dinner or lunch at Sanaa and I'll get this margarita and it refreshes you and cools you down. It is amazing.
