With so many snack options throughout all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort, it can be a hard decision on where to use your dining plan snack credits. I have compiled my favorite snack items that also have the best value in each park and the best time of day to enjoy them!

MORNING
Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll is as big as his ego and just as legendary! This delicious breakfast snack can be found in none other than Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. The size, taste, and charming character factor of this cinnamon roll make it a great value snack whether you’re aiming to make the most of your dining plan snack credits or simply starting your morning on a sweet note, this treat has you covered!
While in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can grab the Pongu Lumpia. This creative combination of pineapple and cream cheese makes this morning spring roll the perfect on-the-go breakfast item for the walk between Avatar Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris.
With an abundance of snack options in EPCOT, the choices can be overwhelming. However, a visit to Connections Eatery for the Liege Waffle is sure to leave you satisfied. This delectable dessert also doubles as a delightful quick breakfast, and while it may be a bit challenging to enjoy on the go, Connections Eatery provides ample seating for you to enjoy your quick bite.
I can’t pick just one breakfast snack item at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Depending on your morning location in the park, you might be tempted by the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or the Lunch Box Tart at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. Each option promises a tasty start to your day, making it challenging to pick just one!
AFTERNOON
For a refreshing treat to beat the Florida heat, we suggest indulging in the timeless DOLE Whip at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom.
Take a midday break in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to grab this next high-value snack at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Café. With a great price and option to use your dining plan snack credit, the Chicken Fried Rice on the menu comes with a great portion that is perfect for lunch on the go!
The Traditional Poutine at The Refreshment Port stands out as a substantial snack, offering nearly meal-sized portions. It’s an ideal choice for refueling in the afternoon to finish your day of exploration around EPCOT, providing a satisfying treat for those who’ve worked up an appetite!
This choice is often a topic of debate, but there’s a reason for it! If you’re in the mood to use a snack credit on something adventurous, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the ideal spot. You might be familiar with the famous (or perhaps “infamous”) blue or green milk found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Opinions on the colored milk vary among Disney guests, making it a polarizing yet adventurous foodie activity. Opting to use a snack credit on this item is wise, as shelling out nearly nine dollars to try something you might not enjoy might cause you to normally skip out on this experience!
EVENING
If you’re craving a more substantial snack in the evening at Magic Kingdom, or even one large enough to share, consider trying the Chili Cheese Fries at Casey’s Corner.
If you are in the mood for a lighter dinner or something to hold you over until your late dinner reservations, the Baked Macaroni & Cheese at Eight Spoon Café in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the perfect snack. If you want to dress up your Mac & cheese, opt for adding pulled pork to this dish. It still surprises me that this is available as a snack menu item eligible for your snack credit!
As the evening cools down, the Bisque de Homard (Lobster Bisque) found at EPCOT’s Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, emerges as a genuine hidden gem for snack credits. Served inside of a bread bowl, this lobster bisque is more than just a snack—it’s a small meal, adding to its exceptional value.
Cap off your evening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a dessert using a snack credit. Indulge in the Wookiee Cookie at Backlot Express for a unique twist on the classic oatmeal cookie. This cookie sandwich features two oatmeal cookies with a vanilla cream filling, topped with a milk chocolate sash. It is the perfect way to end a magical Disney evening.

Now that you're armed with the insider knowledge of the top snack options at Walt Disney World Resort, it's time to embark on a flavorful adventure! From classic treats to hidden gems, these snack selections promise to tantalize your taste buds and make the most of your dining plan credits. So, whether you're strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. or exploring the exotic landscapes of Animal Kingdom, be sure to treat yourself to these delectable delights. Your Disney experience is about to get even sweeter – one snack at a time!
